Account Manager Job Specification

An Irish business with over 20 years experience in connecting businesses from SMEs to blue chip tech companies with speeds of up to 10Gbps. We’re hiring Business Account Managers to help fuel growth and connect more and more businesses to our industry leading network.

The Role – Business Account Manager

Host Ireland have grown significantly over the last 6 years and we’re embarking in the next phase of growth to become Dublin’s largest Enterprise Broadband provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership in developing your sales pipeline and achieve monthly sales targets through direct selling and through channel partners
  • Bring leads and sales to a close
  • Build rapport with your partners and cultivate a strong relationship as a trusted advisor and knowledgeable resource
  • Achieve your KPI targets
  • Help qualify opportunities with detailed questioning and score them internally on their likelihood to become a customer
  • Originate new opportunities through your own research and relationship building
  • Liaise with team members in marketing, support, onboarding, product and finance to achieve success for your partners
  • Provide accurate reporting of pipeline and forecast through diligent updating of Host Ireland’s CRM

Core Skills & Requirements:

  • Lead generation and sales experience within the IT sector
  • 3 years in a sales role
  • A proven track record of closing
  • Understanding of CRM systems
  • Passionate, energetic with a focus on success
  • Positive, commercial and a sales driven individual
